DIY Skirting Installation - Simply Click 'n' Stick in six easy steps

Ensure the corner is flush (clean away any excess plaster). |
Measure from fitting to fitting (plastic end cap or corner piece). Allow an extra 12mm for the two end fittings. |

Fit the corners (profile first). Then place against the wall to ensure a good fit. |

Apply the polyurethane based glue in 20¢ size spots, 300-450mm apart to all pieces of skirting. (Closer if your wall is hugely uneven) |
Hold against the wall with weights (with fittings on). Fill any gaps between the wall and top of skirting with suitable filler. |

Cut to length using a fine tooth saw. Not long enough? Insert the joiners to the locating lug (groove), apply glue to both ends. Place on a flat surface and push together. |
