DIY Skirting Installation - Simply Click 'n' Stick in six easy steps

With NuWood Skirting Boards you don't need to be an expert.

Just simply follow the six easy Click 'n' Stick steps to a more beautiful home.

Step One Step Two

Ensure the corner is flush (clean away any excess plaster).

Measure from fitting to fitting (plastic end cap or corner piece). Allow an extra 12mm for the two end fittings.

Step Three

Fit the corners (profile first). Then place against the wall to ensure a good fit.

Step Four Step Five

Apply the polyurethane based glue in 20¢ size spots, 300-450mm apart to all pieces of skirting. (Closer if your wall is hugely uneven)

Hold against the wall with weights (with fittings on). Fill any gaps between the wall and top of skirting with suitable filler.

Step Six

Cut to length using a fine tooth saw. Not long enough? Insert the joiners to the locating lug (groove), apply glue to both ends. Place on a flat surface and push together.
